A chair for working at home: how it differs from an office chair
An office chair at home looks like an office chair at home. Sometimes this is the main problem.
A chair for home solves the same problem as an office chair - to hold your back for eight hours. But it is not in the office, but in the living room or bedroom, and this changes half of the criteria.
Color: gray instead of black
A black chair is the standard of the office, and that is why it turns the room into an office. Gray looks lighter and doesn't make itself known as loudly; this is noticeable when the workplace is in the living room.
Shades in the catalog range from light gray to graphite, and the exact color is in the model specifications.
Back: mesh or fabric
In the office, they almost always take a membrane mesh - it is ventilated, and the back does not sweat in the summer. At home, the mesh looks technical, and the dense fabric is warmer and quieter.
The trade-off depends on how many hours you spend in it. Up to four hours a day, the difference with ventilation is almost not felt; from six - it is felt every day.
Wheels and floor
This is something that is not thought about in the office, because there are carpet tiles. At home, there is usually laminate or parquet under the chair, and standard hard rollers rattle and leave marks on them.
Solution two: a mat under the chair or soft rubberized rollers. The second is neater, the first is cheaper.
