Chest of drawers: how much can really fit in there
A chest of drawers is chosen for its appearance, and depth is used. Two numbers decide everything.
The chest of drawers is a rare case when all the practical difference between the models is hidden in two lines of characteristics, and it is not visible at all in the photo.
Depth: 35 or 45 cm
The depth of the body is 40–45 cm - it is folded clothes in two rows. The 35cm depth only holds one row, and half the volume you paid for is left as air above things.
A difference of ten centimeters looks like a trifle against the wall and means half the capacity inside. Look specifically at the depth of the case, not the height and width, which are more noticeable.
Guides: ball or roller
Ball-type ones with a closer withstand more weight, extend to the entire length and do not rattle. Rollers are cheaper, but over the years they begin to get stuck and do not allow you to get what lies in the depths.
This is the detail that causes the chest of drawers to "deteriorate" in three years with the entire body: the drawer with roller guides stops moving before anything else wears out.
How many drawers?
