When the living room is 12–14 m², the sofa ceases to be an object and becomes a layout. A mistake here does not cost money, but the daily squeeze between him and the table.
The lower limit is 170 cm
The narrowest models in the line are 170 cm. This is a full-fledged two-seater sofa: two people can sit on it freely, and when unfolded it provides a sleeping place for an adult.
If you need even narrower, the size is agreed before starting work - this is in-house production, not a warehouse. But 170 cm is already the threshold below which a sofa ceases to be a sofa.
Count unfolded, not folded
A folded sofa protrudes into the room by 100-110 cm. When unfolded, it is much more, and it is this dimension that determines whether it will be possible to arrange a sleeping place every night without pushing the table against the wall.
Measure from the wall to the nearest piece of furniture opposite. The difference between the depth of the sofa and the size of the sleeping place is in the characteristics of each model.
Straight, not angular
In a small living room, the corner almost always loses: its corner part protrudes 160–170 cm against 100–110 in the straight one, and half the room goes under the sofa.
Direct, moreover, does not dictate planning - it can be moved, and not rearrange the entire room around it.
